Eddie graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree (Biological Sciences) from the University of Alberta, Canada in 1993 and then obtained his Bachelor’s degree with Distinction in Physiotherapy from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2000. He is a qualified Clinical Pilates and TRX instructor and is certified to perform FMS screens. He also possesses a Certificate in Acupuncture.
His main areas of focus are in sports injuries with a particular interest in shoulder and knee issues. With his background in Clinical Pilates and functional movement screening, he takes an active approach in improving back, neck and postural problems, using manual therapy as an adjunct to setting up good mobility. His main focus for rehabilitation is returning his clients to optimal function with a personalized approach.
Eddie has extensive experience in treating elite level athletes, having worked with the Hong Kong National Men’s Rugby Sevens and XV programs, in addition to Women’s Sevens and varying age group National Youth squads. He has also provided physiotherapy services at international tennis, squash, and beach volleyball events.
Eddie is fluent in Cantonese and English and counts ice hockey, volleyball, and tennis as his past-times.
